Miami City Ballet Celebrates the World Premiere of Alexei Ratmansky's The Fairy's Kiss.

On Friday, Feb. 10, Miami City Ballet celebrated the opening of Program Three, which included the highly anticipated world premiere of Alexei Ratmansky’s The Fairy’s Kiss, at the Adrienne Arsht Center with a spectacular post-performance reception for donors and VIP guests at The Deck at Island Gardens.
MCB major donors and company dancers attended the members-only Artist’s Circle party hosted by the Exclusive Season Venue Sponsor, The Deck at Island Gardens. Guests mingled while enjoying the exquisite superyacht marina outdoor lounge for a scenic and moonlit affair on the water with music; delicious bites provided by The Deck at Island Gardens Chef Alfredo Alvarez; and champagne and wine provided by Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits of Florida.
MCB’s Executive Director Michael Scolamiero and Artistic Director Lourdes Lopez toasted the guest of honor and world-famous choreographer Alexei Ratmansky. MCB Board Members Kristi and Dean Jernigan, Debbi and Charles Adelman, Bobi and Jim Eroncig, major philanthropists and longtime MCB supporters were in attendance.
On Saturday, Feb. 11, members of Miami City Ballet’s young patrons society – Upper Room – were invited to a post-performance cocktail reception – That’s Amoré! Guests were treated to fine wine and Prosecco, delicious hors d’oeuvres and live jazz music, all with a bay-front view at the beautiful showroom for the highly-anticipated Missoni Baia Residences.
Notable guests included Upper Room Members Aaron Puckett, Veronica de Zayas, Joey Brutus, Jessica and Ray Figueroa, and Danny Jelaca, as well as MCB dancers Emily Bromberg, Nathalia Arja, Julian Duque, Tricia Albertson and other young philanthropists.
