International Fine Print Dealers Association Announces the 11th Annual INK MIAMI ART FAIR Modern & Contemporary Works on Paper.
November 17, 2016
INK Miami has been unique among satellite fairs of Art Basel Miami Beach for its exclusive focus on works on paper. Founded in 2006 by the International Fine Print Dealers Association, the Fair has distinguished itself by the quality of its works and exhibitors, as well as its lush open-air courtyard, with surrounding suites transformed into uniquely defined gallery spaces offering a diverse survey of 20th century masterworks and editions by leading contemporary artists.
As part of INK Miami's eleventh anniversary, Perrier® will be hosting special events to debut ARTXTRA, The Perrier® Art Experience.
Perrier® will showcase this exciting new project at the INK Art Fair on Thursday, December 1 from 8PM-10PM and Sunday, December 4 from 10AM-3PM.
ARTXTRA is a new annual arts initiative presented by Perrier® to support emerging contemporary artists. For more than 150 years, Perrier has collaborated with some of the world’s leading artists, and ARTXTRA builds on that rich legacy. The 2017 Perrier Artist of the Year will embark on a year-long partnership with the brand, including a full-scale installation at Miami Art Week 2017 and the nationwide release of original packaging designs.
Launching on November 1, 2016, three groundbreaking artists have been shortlisted for the inaugural ARTXTRA program, including Saya Woolfalk, Hayal Pozanti and Eric Rieger (HOTTEA). To identify these three artists, Perrier assembled an advisory board of recognized industry leaders, including: Helen Toomer, Michelle Joan Papillion, Beau Basse, Job Piston and Naomi Beckwith.
