Brickell Heights Tops Off and Expects Sell-Out in 90 Days.
April 12, 2016
Following the recent top off at Hyde Resorts & Residences Hollywood, The Related Group announced that construction has topped off at the two-tower Brickell Heights on South Miami Avenue. The 690-unit development is 96% under contract and completion is on track for early 2017.
Interior work begins this month on the tower’s highly anticipated, three-story Equinox fitness center and SoulCycle studio. Each tower unit will receive a complimentary one-year membership to the 35,000 square-foot fitness club.
Last month, the first Capital One Café was signed to occupy 6,375 square feet on the ground floor of Brickell Heights with a new banking concept by Peet’s Coffee. The café will boast interiors by renowned New York-based Rockwell Group, the same firm in charge of Brickell Height’s public spaces. The Comras Company represents Capital One Café in its South Florida expansion.
Arden Karson, Project Manager for Brickell Heights, said, “As South Miami’s construction cranes come down, our sales are going up. We’re anticipating a full sell-out within 60 days,” in reference to the imminent completions of the two-million-square-foot Brickell City Centre one block north, and SLS Brickell just south. Both properties are located steps away with restaurants, entertainment and retail.
Carlos Rosso, President of Related’s Condominium Development division, added, “We’re positioned at a very attractive price, we are definitely the best deal in Brickell. We are just across from Brickell City Centre’s 11 cinemas and 50 restaurants and close to 300,000 square feet of Miami’s prime retail. Buyers realize the transformational nature of South Miami Avenue and the desirability for future buyers and renters to be in the heart of Brickell. This is where people want to live, work and play.”
