The 530,000 square-foot mixed-use development is expected to open doors in Miami’s Design District in the first quarter of 2018.
Positioned as the gateway property to three iconic neighborhoods in South Florida, Wynwood, the Design District and Midtown Miami, HES Group partners with internationally recognized food + beverage expert, Steven Kamali of Hospitality House, to program the hotel’s culinary venues for its 530,000 square-foot mixed-use development, Triptych, set to open doors in the first quarter of 2018.
The full-service food + beverage company will provide spatial planning and programming, financial analysis, concept development, operator sourcing and contract advisory for the hotel’s 38,000 square feet of food and beverage space, which will occupy the hotel’s seventh, eighth and rooftop floors and will include a signature restaurant, grand ballroom, and rooftop bar + lounge.
“Triptych is an innovative project that will serve as the first hotel in Miami’s Design District and Midtown Miami area,” said Steven Kamali. “HES Group has created a dynamic concept, and we are strategically working to implement a restaurateur that will add to South Florida’s growing culinary scene.”
The much-awaited hotel is the latest addition to Kamali’s high-profile portfolio, which also includes: Hudson Yard’s Equinox Hotel, The Godfrey Hotel Chicago, Lighstone’s four Manhattan Moxy Hotels, The Renwick Hotel, Baccarat Hotel, 1 Hotels in Central Park and Brooklyn Bridge Park and Cut by Wolfgang Puck at Four Seasons Downtown NYC.
Triptych is set to be a high-end, hip hotel with unique character and architecture. Recently announced as a part of the Hilton Curio Collection, the 20-story hotel is anticipated to become South Florida’s next hospitality hot spot. It will serve in a prime location with walkability to neighborhoods such as Midtown, Wynwood and Miami’s Design District.
"Triptych will not only serve as the only hotel in the region, but it will connect three significant neighborhoods,” says Francisco Arocha, President of HES Group. “We are committed to bringing this project to life with architecture, artists and the perfect fare. Steven Kamali represents the culinary scene at its best, and we are excited to have his team working on our concepts.”
In addition to the 38,000 square feet dedicated to drinking and dining, the development will also feature 40,000 square feet of retail space, more than 70,000 square feet of Class A office space, a mechanical parking system capable of holding up to 400 vehicles and a 296-room lifestyle hotel with a sky lobby and rooftop deck.
